With nearly 30 years of hospitality experience, Hughes most recently served as managing director of JLL, a global leader in real estate services and investment, where he was responsible for hospitality transactions throughout Texas.  Prior to that, he held multiple roles with Ashford Hospitality Inc., the exclusive advisor to Ashford Hospitality Trust and Braemar Hotels &amp; Resorts, most recently as senior vice president of real estate investments.  He also holds a Texas Real Estate Sales Agent license.  He received his BBA in finance from Texas Christian University and his MBA in Finance from SMU Cox School of Business.
Damien Abrams
A 20-year hospitality veteran, Abrams joined Twenty Four Seven as general manager to successfully open The 87-suite Steward, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel located in Santa Barbara, Calif.  Prior to this promotion, he served as regional director of operations for the company with a key focus on food &amp; beverage operations.  Previously, he held multiple, executive positions with prestigious hotels throughout the U.S., including manager of the 4-diamond Renaissance Newport Beach and director of hotel operations of the award-winning Marriott Irvine Spectrum and Hive and Honey Rooftop Bar. He earned his BS in hotel administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

HISTORY
Originally purchased in the late 1860s by pioneer horticulturist Joseph Sexton, the land became home to his family’s estate, known as “The Sexton House,” along with one of the area’s first nurseries. Today, the Sexton House serves as a historical landmark in Santa Barbara giving guests the opportunity to explore many of his signature trees and plants that still grace the grounds. The Steward finds inspiration in Sexton’s desire to grow and nurture the land and emphasizes a passion for bringing the grounds to life with the hotel being a complementary part of the natural surroundings. DESIGN 
Guests can find a refreshing haven within the refined, yet playful style, focusing on balancing California’s innate elements and vibrant open spaces with a Southern European farmhouse flair. Curated and designed in partnership with Los Angeles-based firm, SANDdesign, The Steward’s natural surroundings make its way throughout the property, both inside and out. The boutique hotel’s suites are reminiscent of historical, residential estate architecture combined with updated, modern touches and distinctive details including water-colored pictures of The Sexton House. Throughout the property, each detail is infused with care — from custom local artwork, a lobby library, an outdoor dining area to a cozy bar, all with a nature-driven aesthetic. With the intent to evoke a “Secret Garden” feel, guests are surrounded by many of Sexton’s original trees and unique plantings, with even the newer elements drawing inspiration from his gardens, such as pampas grass, birds-of-paradise, and palm and citrus trees. As visitors make their way through the garden, they will come upon whimsical touches from a wooden piano to intimate seating areas. The nature-inspired design features a palette of environmental tones with touches of citrus and deep foliage green, as well as interspersed accents of flora and hummingbirds.
CULINARY
Continuing to embrace the destination and the property’s commitment to sustainability, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Terra, meaning “of the earth,” incorporates locally-sourced ingredients that showcase and highlight the Central Coast’s agriculture through its connections with local farms and purveyors. In the kitchen, Executive Chef Augusto Caudillo finds inspiration in his rich connection to the community, having grown up in Goleta, Calif., combined with his passion to bring people together through food. His seasonally-driven menus draw inspiration from California and Mediterranean fare, and offer approachable, produce-driven dishes that are both aesthetically pleasing and nourishing.
While bringing The Steward to life, the team discovered a journal on-property from the 1930s that features one of the first recorded recipes for avocado toast. Guests will be able to try the original recipe featured on Terra’s menu. Additional thoughtful touches throughout the menu include herbs from the property’s very own gardens, botanical blooming tea service and organic mocktails in partnership with DrinkTilden for upscale sips sans alcohol. Terra’s pre-packed picnic kit will allow guests to dine al fresco amidst the whimsical grounds or while exploring the destination. A few standout dishes Caudillo has created for Terra include Pampas Grass King Avocado Toast, Santa Barbara Hope Ranch Mussels, Organic Chinook Salmon and Hummingbird Cake.

Originally purchased in the late 1860s by pioneer horticulturist Joseph Sexton, the land became home to his family’s estate, known as “The Sexton House,” along with one of the area’s first nurseries. Today, the Sexton House serves as both a historical landmark in Santa Barbara, as well as The Steward’s crown jewel, giving guests the opportunity to explore many of his signature trees and plants that still grace the grounds. With sustainability at its core, The Steward will find inspiration in Sexton’s desire to care for the land and become a complementary part of the natural surroundings. As part of this commitment, the hotel will have green initiatives at every turn, from no single-use plastics to staff uniforms made of sustainable and vegan materials to a partnership with the local farm across the street for food composting. Guests will be encouraged to participate in its green programming with refillable water bottles and water stations throughout the property, along with informational talks with local eco-friendly groups and inspiring quotes placed throughout the property promoting sustainability.

Curated and designed by Los Angeles-based firm, SANDdesign, The Steward’s interiors will invite guests into its refined, yet playful style, focused on balancing California’s natural elements and vibrant open spaces with a Southern European farmhouse flair. The design pays homage to the history of the property, preserving the original character of the buildings, while bringing forth a Central Coast relaxed vibe with inviting nooks and spaces. With the intent to evoke a “Secret Garden” feel, guests will be surrounded by many of Sexton’s original trees and unique plantings, with even the newer elements drawing inspiration from his gardens, such as pampas grass, birds-of-paradise, and palm and citrus trees. The nature-inspired design will feature a palette of environmental tones with touches of citrus and deep foliage green, as well as interspersed accents of flora and hummingbirds. Suites will be reminiscent of historical, residential estate architecture combined with updated, modern touches and distinctive details including water-colored pictures of The Sexton House.
Continuing to embrace the destination, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Terra, meaning “of the earth,” will incorporate locally-sourced ingredients that showcase and highlight the area’s rich bounty of agriculture. The seasonally-driven menus will draw inspiration from California and Mediterranean fare, offering approachable, produce-driven dishes that are both aesthetically pleasing and nourishing. While bringing The Steward to life, the team discovered a journal on-property from the 1930s that features one of the first recorded recipes for avocado toast. The journal is still on property today and guests will be able to try the original recipe on Terra’s aesthetically pleasing yet nourishing menu. Guests will enjoy thoughtful touches throughout the menu including herbs from the property’s very own gardens, botanical blooming tea service and organic mocktails in partnership with DrinkTilden for upscale sips sans alcohol. Terra’s pre-packed picnic kit will allow guests to dine amidst the breathtaking grounds or neighboring beaches and mountain terrain, while remaining sustainable with compostable wood wrapped cutlery.

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 13, 2023—<a href="https://247hotels.com/">Twenty Four Seven Hotels</a>, a third-party hospitality management company for premium-branded, select-service and lifestyle hotel segments in the western U.S., announced the grand opening of the 128-room Hyatt House Sacramento/Midtown.  The adaptive reuse project, owned and developed by Hume Development, Inc., repurposed the former Eastern Star Hall, which is located in the heart of Sacramento&#8217;s art, music and cultural scene.
“The Hyatt House Sacramento/Midtown is the perfect marriage of the classic and the contemporary, providing the latest amenities and services in a setting that draws heavily from its nearly century-old history to provide a uniquely Sacramento experience,” said Amanda Hawkins-Vogel, chief operating officer, Twenty Four Seven Hotels.   “This hotel is an extension of our presence in Northern California and marks our first opening this year with two more to scheduled to follow in 2023.  As the newest hospitality offering in the city, we expect the Hyatt House Sacramento to quickly take its rightful place as the segment and market leader for business and leisure travelers.”
Situated at 2719 K Street in the Sutter District, the pet- and family-friendly hotel is near Capital Mall, Crocker Art Museum and the Old Sacramento Waterfront.  Guest rooms are designed to mimic studio apartments, with kitchens in 87 rooms, ideal for extended stays.  The Hyatt House also provides four suites with separate bedrooms, two of which are specialty owner suites featuring high ceilings and Restoration Hardware fixtures.  Hotel amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, 24/7 fitness center, guest laundry, business center and 700 square feet of flexible meeting space.
Guests can grab a quick snack at the Hyatt House’s grab-n-go sundry shop or a full morning meal at the complimentary breakfast bar.  Additionally, guests and locals may dine at the Star Lounge, a full-service restaurant and bar, located on the hotel’s third floor. Star Lounge continues the tradition of being a gathering place, offering happy hour, an inventive craft cocktail menu and dinner featuring small plates, burgers and steaks.  The lounge is led by Chef Graham Forbes, formerly the chef de cuisine at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel.
The Romanesque Revival-style building first opened in 1928 as a Masonic women’s meeting place and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  While keeping the major architectural features of the historic building intact, the renovation included the redevelopment of five floors within the original structure that includes the lobby, restaurant, fitness center and meeting space, as well as the addition of a new three-story annex that includes additional hotel rooms.  The hotel’s history is incorporated throughout the building by using the original front doors, tables, plaster, brick and a repurposed pulpit as the host’s stand.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 6, 2022—Officials of Twenty Four Seven Hotels, a third-party hospitality management company for premium brand select-service and lifestyle hotels segments in the western U.S., today released the company’s first quarter results for 2022.  Through the first three months of the year, the company’s portfolio consistently outperformed national industry averages as measured by STR, leading in occupancy, rate and revenue per available room (RevPAR).  The company also announced that it added the 125-room Cambria Hotel Calabasas and the 120-room Hilton Garden Inn Temecula to its portfolio, expanding their foot point in key Southern California destinations, as well as grew its leadership teams at both the corporate- and property-levels.

Cambria Hotel Calabasas
Twenty Four Seven Hotels celebrated the Cambria Hotel Calabasas opening in March on behalf of the California-based Weintraub Real Estate Group.  The three-story hotel is situated at 26400 Rondell Street, adjacent to the Santa Monica Mountains and a short drive through Malibu Canyon to Malibu’s pristine beaches.  Nearby attractions include Malibu Creek State Park, the Ronald Regan Presidential Library, Pepperdine University and the corporate headquarters of companies including Cheesecake Factory and Harbor Freight.  Hotel amenities include an outdoor pool, open-air dining patio, onsite barista coffee bar, nearly 2,000 square feet of meeting space and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Hilton Garden Inn Temecula
The 104-room Hilton Garden Inn Temecula opened under Twenty Four Seven Hotels management in March.  Owned by Wellprofit LLC, the three-story hotel is located just off I-15 at 28210 Jefferson Ave., less than a mile from the specialty shops and restaurants in Old Town Temecula.  The pet-friendly property provides an outdoor pool, EV charging stations, 24/7 fitness center, 1,368 square feet of meeting space and an outdoor patio with grills.  Digital key-accessible rooms are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi.
“The Cambria Hotel Calabasas marks our second Cambria, while the Hilton Garden Inn is our sixth Hilton branded hotel, growing our portfolio to 18 properties in California,” Wani noted.  “This allows us to implement shared best practices and utilize economies of scale immediately, important steps that will allow the hotels to ramp up more quickly as they work toward becoming the market leaders in their segments.”

Executive- and Property-Level Leadership Growth
To accommodate its impressive growth, Twenty Four Seven Hotels also has added multiple executive team members at the corporate level, as well as seven general managers at the property level.  The new leaders include naming Amanda Hawkins-Vogel executive vice president of operations, Dennis Eichen vice president of finance, Andre Heard director of information technology, and Sarah Crowe director of marketing and communications.
