Gary Gray

Gary is the Chief Investment Officer for 24seven Hotels and he is responsible for leading the company’s growth efforts. He has spent over 30 years leading hotel ground-up development, acquisitions, and management contract growth. He has extensive experience in value-add investment projects, repositioning hotels with changes in management, branding, capital investment and he has a pulse on today’s evolving markets. His deep knowledge of financing, asset management and management contract negotiation ensure 24seven Hotels operates at an industry-leading level.

Gary began his career with a west coast-based hotel developer, leading development and acquisition efforts to position the company as the largest owner and operator of Embassy Suites Hotels in the country at that time. Just prior to joining 24seven Hotels, he was a west coast based senior executive for a national hotel ownership and operation company responsible for completing over 20 hotel transactions, including new construction of California’s first AC Hotel. Over his career he has been instrumental in completing over 75 hotel developments, acquisitions and third party management transactions. He earned his B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
