David Wani | Chief Executive Officer

As a founding partner David serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for strategic oversight of all aspects of company operations, development, and investment.

Prior to forming Twenty Four Seven Hotels, David spent over seven years with Tarsadia Hotels working with the executive team in sourcing, underwriting, and negotiating licensing and purchase and sale contracts for company acquisition, disposition, and development opportunities. David’s diverse industry experience also includes real estate and hotel consulting with a focus on hospitality and auditing at Landauer Associates in Los Angeles.

David earned his M.B.A. in Real Estate/Finance from the University of Southern California, and his M.S. in Hotel Investment from New York University.

Drew Hardy | President

Drew brings a diverse background in strategic planning, finance, and investment to his position as Co-founder and President of Twenty Four Seven Hotels. He plays a key role in business development including sourcing new management and investment opportunities, asset management, and owner relations.

Drew began his career in the investment side of the industry with a boutique hotel management firm in San Diego before setting out to form Pacific Hotel Brokerage, a west coast hotel investment advisory firm, in 1992. From there he went on to become Vice President of Real Estate for Tarsadia Hotels where he continued to focus on hotel acquisitions, dispositions and financing.

Drew earned his business degree from the University of San Diego and also holds a certification in Real Estate, Development, and Hotel Investment from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration.

Bill Swank Jr. | President-Development & Construction

A principal of his own hotel development firm since 1985, Bill joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels as a partner bringing his tremendous background in hotel development and construction management. As President of Design and Construction his primary responsibility is to coordinate and direct all company new build and renovation projects.

Bill’s entire professional career has been spent in land acquisition, entitlement, project administration, finance, asset management, and franchising. Among his notable projects was the first Marriott Residence Inn to open in Mexico in the coastal resort of Bajamar, which he accomplished via an international partnership with Grupo Frisa, one of Mexico's largest commercial developers. In addition, Bill was responsible for managing the design professionals and construction of the first Moxy Hotel in the US, including extensive coordinated efforts with the Marriott brand team, Marriott Architecture and Construction and Marriott Procurement.

Bill earned his business degree from the University of Southern California, and a professional certification in Real Estate, Development, and Hotel Investment from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration.

Gary Gray | Chief Investment Officer

As Twenty Four Seven Hotels’ Chief Investment Officer, Gary spearheads the company’s growth in pursuing hotel acquisitions, management services and new build opportunities. With over 25 years of hospitality experience, Gary’s background includes ground up development, acquisitions and repositioning of value add projects, financing, dispositions, asset management and management contract negotiation.

He began his career in hotel development for a west coast based hotel developer and led the development and acquisition efforts to position the company as the largest owner and operator of Embassy Suites Hotels in the country at the time.

Prior to joining Twenty Four Seven Hotels, Gary most recently dedicated seven years with TPG Hotels & Resorts in sourcing, underwriting and closing hotel transactions ranging from new construction of California’s first AC Hotel, to over 20 hotel acquisitions and hotel management Agreements collectively valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Gary earned his B.S and M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Leesa Gibbons | Director of People Resources

Leesa brings more than 20 years of hospitality management experience, having held positions with several Hilton, Choice, and Starwood brands, ranging from luxury hotels to select-service properties.

Leveraging her deeply rooted hospitality knowledge and field experience, Leesa directs and oversees all learning and development programs and any organizational development initiatives. Fundamental to the success of this new department, her focus will include succession planning and career development, performance management systems, learning management systems, organizational values and/or principles and associate engagement initiatives.

Prior to joining Twenty Four Seven Hotels, Leesa held hospitality leadership positions in operations, sales and marketing, and accounting. Noteworthy to her career is earning the Hilton brand's top award, the Connie Pride Hotel of the Year, as the opening General Manager for Homewood Suites, Phoenix North Happy Valley.

Vernita Crews | Corporate Director of Sales

Vernita joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels in 2013 as the Regional Director of Sales for Northern California, Idaho, and Arizona.

Prior to joining the company her career spanned twenty years with management teams at Tarsadia Hotels, Crescent Hotels & Resorts, and Commonwealth Hotels, holding top leadership positions within the sales discipline.

With Twenty Four Seven Hotels, Vernita oversees all hotel sales and marketing strategies as well as corporate branding and marketing support. She provides hotel sales teams with training, tools and a tactical approach to prospecting and winning business to achieve the overall demand segmentation and revenue goals.

John Blem | Vice President Operations

As the Vice President of Operations, John Blem is responsible for all aspects of hotel operations and guest services, providing strategic direction and leadership for our entire portfolio. In addition to managing a team of regional operations directors and general managers, he is responsible for owner relations and ensuring all managed assets exceed investment objectives.

John has over 30 years of hospitality leadership experience. He spent the first half of his career as general manager and in regional leadership positions for a variety of brands, from upscale to resort level properties, before serving as an executive vice president for Homestead Suites, a publicly traded company. He joined Tarsadia Hotels in 2002, relocating to Southern California, and served in a specialized role as opening general manager for multiple new-builds. John remained in his role as area general manager through the company’s transition to Evolution Hospitality in 2011, while continuing to specialize in managing hotels with extensive renovation projects throughout his term.

He has earned numerous awards from Marriott and from prior management companies throughout his career including: Hotel of the Year, General Manager of the Year, Top Quality Hotel and Best New Hotel Opening. In addition, John has served as a Board of Director member for San Jose State University's Hospitality Program and for the San Diego Tourism Authority. John received his degree in Business Management and Marketing from Southern Oregon University.

Isaac Rodriguez | Vice President Revenue Strategy & Distribution

Isaac originally joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels in 2003 and served the company in various senior hotel management positions before taking full-time responsibility for multi-property revenue management.

Since 2008, he has been developing and overseeing the revenue management foundations by focusing on the evolving revenue system enhancements of each major brand and ensuring the support structure provides outstanding value for each property in our portfolio. He oversees tactical direction and support on sell strategy implementation as well as assisting the hotels’ executive team with forecasting and budgeting analysis.

Isaac attended Northern Arizona University and Scottsdale Community College and holds degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He has achieved industry recognized certifications as Certified Revenue Manager Executive, CRME and Certified Hospitality Administrator, CHA.

Joe Deutschman | Regional Director Operations

Moving to sunny California from the Beaver State, Joe joined the Twenty Four Seven band as the Regional Director of Operations. In this role, he is responsible for directly supervising a group of hotel assets, providing leadership and accountability that achieve objectives of ownership, guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and targeted profitability.

Prior to his current position, Joe has held a number of General Manager titles in Marriott, Hilton, and IHG hotels. In addition to the hustle and bustle of hospitality management responsibilities, Joe also spends his spare time volunteering with the Humane Society.

Joe earned his degree in Hotel and Resort Management from Central Washington University.

Mariah Lynch | eCommerce Manager

Mariah joined the Twenty Four Seven Hotels team in early 2016 to manage the digital presence of each property as the Corporate eCommerce Manager.

Prior to Twenty Four Seven Hotels she was the Marketing Coordinator for The Grove Hotel in Boise, ID after graduating from The College of Idaho in 2014. She majored in Political Economy and triple-minored in Business, Mathematics, and Asian Studies.

Mariah leverages her analytical and creative background to augment hotel visibility in the digital realm while keeping abreast of the ever-changing industry.

Lety Pirronello | Revenue Manager

Lety joins the 247 band bringing with her over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, nearly all in the discipline of revenue management. Her experience ranges throughout upscale to luxury segments.

In her current role, Lety is responsible for driving revenue and profitability for a group of hotel assets by collaborating with her fellow revenue and sales bandmates to provide guidance and support to property level teams.

Lety received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Hotel Management from University of the Pacific in Mazatlan, Mexico, and is a Certified Revenue Management Executive.

Mary Ellen Goese | Revenue Manager

Mary Ellen Goese joins Twenty Four Seven Hotels with experience in hotel operations, revenue management and financials – and chart-topping honors as Employee of the Year at St. Regis Monarch Beach. With her craftsmanship in group revenue strategy and asset management, she brings critical knowledge of forecasting, industry trends, and a number of revenue platforms to her position as Corporate Revenue Manager.

In this role, Mary Ellen is responsible for providing direction to property teams, driving profitability and raising the bottom line for our Twenty Four Seven Hotels' properties.

Mary Ellen attended California State Polytechnic University of Pomona, where she received her degree in Hospitality Management.

Cenie Ho | Revenue Manager

Cenie steps up to the stage as Twenty Four Seven's Revenue Manager in summer of 2019. As Revenue Manager, she is responsible for ensuring the hotels in her portfolio compete in the marketplace. In addition to her vast knowledge of a wide range of tools and technologies, she supports each general manager's bottom line performance by closely collaborating with sales leaders and eCommerce managers to capture targeted bookings.

Previous to this gig, Cenie was appointed in a number of Revenue Manager and Director of Revenue Management roles, where her tour led her to excel in markets such as New York, Washington and San Diego.

Cenie received her bachelor degree in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles and master's of science in hospitality with a revenue management concentration from New York University.

Stephanie Vasquez | Revenue Analyst

Stephanie joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels in 2017 as Sales and Revenue Analyst at our DoubleTree by Hilton LAX/El Segundo prior to being promoted to corporate Revenue Analyst. Her hospitality roots at the front desk and more recent experience in inventory management, forecasting and revenue platforms helps her tune-in to the larger strategies set by the corporate revenue team and by operations.

As Revenue Analyst, Stephanie supports the Revenue Managers in implementing pricing strategies, monitoring comp sets and reporting – all in the aim of driving optimal share and maximizing the ROI for our hotels.

Samuel Grant | Vice President Finance & Accounting

Samuel joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels hotels as Director of Finance in 2014.

Prior to joining Twenty Four Seven Hotels, Samuel was the Director of Finance for Petit Ermitage Hotel and prior to that held a multitude of Finance positions in the hospitality industry.

As the Vice President Finance, Samuel and his team manage the Twenty Four Seven Hotels portfolio of hotel accounting procedures, which include the daily balancing of systems, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budgets and Profit and Loss Statements.

Samuel has a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and B.A. Economics from Ohio State University. He teaches Hospitality Finance and Critical Thinking for University of Phoenix.

Gary Comeaux | Regional General Manager

Gary joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels in 2012 as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn La Mesa before he was promoted to Area General Manager of the two IHG hotels in San Diego and most recently to his current position where he oversees IHG, Hilton and Marriott Select Service hotels in Southern California.

In his role of Regional Manager, Gary provides leadership to the Operations teams and incorporating brand and Twenty Four Seven Hotels cultures into the day-to-day processes.

Prior to joining Twenty Four Seven Hotels, Gary worked with Interstate Hotels, Sunstone Hotels, Pinnacle Hotels and Marriott International. He is certified in several of IHG and Marriott service and operations programs.

Cassidi Haskell | Regional Director of Sales

Cassidi originally joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels in 2013 and most recently was the Director of Sales at the Hyatt Place Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga.

Prior to Twenty Four Seven Hotels, she has held various sales positions within the hospitality industry including the full service Marriott Riverside at the Convention Center in downtown Riverside, California.

Cassidi’s responsibilities include driving revenue through a regional multi-property direct sales effort by assisting and developing our properties’ sales leaders. She works directly with her properties to support corporate and group sales initiatives to close business and manage our customer relationships in market.

Joe Kuhn | Regional Director of Operations

Joe joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels in the winter of 2018, bringing over 20 years of experience in full and select service hotels. Prior to his role as Regional Director of Operations, he has held title as General Manager in brands such as DoubleTree, Courtyard, Marriott Hotels, and Residence Inn. In his current role, Joe provides guidance to a group of hotel assets through policies and practices that attain objectives of ownership, guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and targeted profitability.

Patrick Yoon | Corporate Staff Accountant

Patrick joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels’ Finance and Accounting team in 2015.

Most recently, he served as Senior Income Auditor for USA Hotel Group, LLC. Having navigated various front office management, night audits, and accounting positions for various hotel groups, Patrick brings hands-on experience to his role - as well as his own contagious brand of humor.

In his role with Twenty Four Seven Hotels, Patrick works closely with the VP of Finance and Regional Controller, lending support and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiencies of properties in his region. His responsibilities include general ledger reconciliation, as well as month-end closing report reconciliation; assisting during hotel acquisition and transition periods;posting bi-weekly payroll and daily revenue expenses; and creating or altering profit and loss statement reports.

Patrick attended Wyoming Technical Institute and possesses an extensive background and knowledge in PC LAN environments and related security operations.

Heather Holloway | Accounts Payable Manager

Heather has a “lifetime” of experience in finance and accounting roles in the hospitality industry that she brings to her current role as A/P Manager. Heather is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the AP function and the variety of business processes within AP such as invoice processing, payment processing, supplier creation/modification, and the documentation of processes within the finance and accounting function of the Company.

Prior to switching coastlines to join Twenty Four Seven Hotels, Heather was based on the east coast. She thrived in her 27-year career with Prime Hospitality, working in all levels of purchasing and accounting as the company grew to 286 hotels with management, development and franchising business units. Heather is proud of her degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Centenary College where she once hosted her own live radio show.

Candace King | People Resources Manager

Candace joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels in 2005 to champion benefits administration, employee relations and human resources. Her areas of responsibility include employee and labor relations, legal compliance and generally promoting the company's culture and organizational growth. Her primary goal is to make our company a fun place to work, learn and grow.

Before joining Twenty Four Seven Hotels Candace held several management positions in the banking industry with her most recent experience overseeing the Foreign Exchange Department at Bank of America in Los Angeles, CA.

Alison Sansone | Vice President Marketing & Communications

Alison brings over 20 years of experience from a variety of corporate leadership roles to her position at Twenty Four Seven Hotels. The first decade of her career was firmly positioned in hospitality, ranging from Quality Assurance Manager to Human Resources Director to Investor Relations. Her hospitality experience includes interfacing with global leading brands such as Motel 6, Embassy Suites, Marriott and Hilton.

Throughout the next decade she pursued marketing and communications, driven by her interests in video production and technology. She launched her own marketing agency, developing brand strategy and digital marketing media, and worked extensively in the tech startup sector on mobile enterprise projects.

She steered the Twenty Four Seven Hotels re-brand efforts, initiated as a part of their growth strategies in 2016. Joining the executive team in-house enables her to continue managing brand strategy while expanding responsibilities to support the business development team and property marketing needs, as well.

Hannah Huse | Regional Director of Sales

Hannah joined Twenty Four Seven Hotels in 2015 as the Director of Sales at MOXY PhoenixTempe, helping to launch the first MOXY for Marriott International in the United States. Working hand-in-hand with Marriott International, she played a pivotal role in maintaining key corporate accounts while introducing a new lifestyle brand to the Tempe market.

Prior to joining Twenty Four Seven Hotels, she worked for Marriott International in various area sales roles, including serving as Account Executive for both the Houston and Detroit markets.These roles encompassed total account management and sales for all Marriott brands nationally in both the Corporate and Affinity segments.

In her new role as Regional Director of Sales, Hannah’s responsibilities include working with the properties to develop sales teams, execute marketing plans, and leverage brand tools to help analyze and improve optimal revenue growth.

Hannah earned her bachelor’s at University of Houston.

Susan McClurg | Payroll Manager

Bringing more than 15 years of payroll management experience, Susan McClurg joined the Twenty Four Seven band in July 2017.

Prior to joining Twenty Four Seven Hotels, Susan served in payroll management positions at West Coast University and Seven Crown Resorts. Her experience with managing multi-state payroll operations and developing improved payroll costs, efficiencies and accuracies make her a fantastic fit on our rockstar Accounting and Finance team.

In her role as Payroll Manager, Susan manages and oversees a multi-state payroll system and processes bi-weekly payroll for our company portfolio, regularly evaluating opportunities to implement best practices.

Susan received her bachelor’s degree from California State Long Beach.

Jinsung Kim | Controller

Jinsung joins the Twenty Four Seven Hotels team with a long playlist in hospitality industry accounting. Being appointed in a number of leadership positions in her career, Jinsung's financial reporting, budgeting and systems savviness make her a valuable player in our Finance and Accounting Department.

As Corporate Controller, Jinsung will provide guidance to her group of hotel assets, administering financial procedures by completing property budgets, forecasts and account reconciliation in correlation with Twenty Four Seven Hotels' financial systems.

Jinsung acquired her Bachelors Degree from University of California, Irvine and Accounting Certificate from University of California, Los Angeles.

Ari Fresques | Director of People Resources

Ari brings a vast array of experience in oversight of associate relations, benefit administration and critical HR compliance to our team. Starting her human resources career in 2003, Ari has since fulfilled leadership positions as Senior Human Resources Manager, Director of People Services, and HRBP for a number of top hotel management groups in Southern California.

As Director of People Resources, Ari is responsible for focusing on legal matters, implementation of management systems and constructing talent advancement, to which all advance our company’s initiatives and objectives.

Edward Busch | Task Force General Manager

Edward joins our Operations team with over a decade of extensive hotel industry experience, having fulfilled roles such as Opening General Manager, Director of Sales, Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Operations and more. He is a versatile and results-driven leader who has led hotel teams in a variety of brands such as Renaissance, Courtyard, Hampton Inn and Marriott Hotels in New York and Pennsylvania. Most recently, Edward traded the East Coast for the Golden State where he oversaw a Courtyard and Residence Inn as a Dual Property General Manager in San Francisco.

As Task Force General Manager, Edward trains, coaches and motivates property teams in operational performance and delivering the highest levels of guest service. His day-to-day responsibilities include development assistance for hotel leadership, managing daily sales efforts and leveraging major system brands to execute operation productivity and efficiency.

Huberth Escobar | Area General Manager

Huberth joins the operations team with over twenty years of experience in hotel operations. As Area General Manager of Twenty Four Seven Hotels, he coaches his hotels in proper execution of all departments, delivering excellent guest service and financial profitability. Prior to this role, Huberth held a number of leadership roles in brands such as Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and Best Western Plus, with heavy emphasis in the rooms division.

Huberth led his team to earn top honors as "Hotel of the Year" from Twenty Four Seven Hotels during his second year as General Manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites Ontario in California.

Tianying Wang | Staff Accountant

Tianying joins the Twenty Four Seven Hotels band in spring of 2019, bringing with her over five years of finance experience in roles as accountant and auditor. Her fluency with accounting platforms and balancesheets help her flow on beat with our Finance and Accounting team.

Tianying is responsible for financial reconciliations and maintenance, analyzing financial information to prepare monthly and annual statements for a number of properties in our portfolio. In this role, she executes new accounting standard initiatives at both a corporate and managed hotel level.

She received her Master of Science in Accounting from University of Pittsburgh.

Nelly Hanna | Task Force Sales Manager

Nelly is a Starwood-awarded hospitality leader that contributes over fifteen years of hotels sales experience to our Revenue team. As Task Force Sales Manager, she leverages her industry acumen by providing support for analytical and sales strategies, advancing the growth of our properties’ revenue.

Her extensive experience with previous roles as Area Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Catering and Senior Sales Manager in brands such as Hilton Hotels, Sheraton, Element, Courtyard and DoubleTree equips her with valuable skills in maximizing rates and revenues throughout our entire portfolio.

Michael joins the Twenty Four Seven Hotels band with two decades of hospitality industry hits. He served as General Manager for brands such as Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn and Suites, Courtyard Hotels, SpringHill Suites and Hyatt Place, eventually overseeing up to five properties at once.

Michael takes on the position as Regional Director of Operations with a strong hotel operations and sales background. In his current role, he will provide guidance on objectives such as driving guest satisfaction scores, adding value to owner relations, and mentoring General Managers.

Michael is a Hyatt-recognized hospitality leader and has held a board position for the Tempe Convention and Visitor Bureau. He received his Bachelors Degree from Arizona State University.

Deanna Kautai | Task Force Sales Manager

Deanna is our Task Force Sales Manager. In this role, Deanna brings with her over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, with her expertise in cementing client relationships, stimulating new business, and exceeding sales objectives for both Marriott and Hilton branded hotels. As Task Force Sales Manager, Deanna executes direct sales strategies that drive top line revenues, develops property sales leaders, and provides support to varied sales efforts.

Prior to this role, Deanna held the title of Director of Sales at our TownePlace Suites Sacramento Cal Expo, where she reconstructed sales organization for the property to drive revenue and market share gain. Deanna was awarded with Twenty Four Seven Hotel’s Breakthrough Sales Manager of the Year in 2017.

Nicholas Bohamera | Digital Marketing Specialist

Nick joined 247 Hotels early 2017 with both a degree and experience in marketing.

As the eCommerce Analyst, Nick works closely with the eCommerce Manager to perform quality assurance analyses of the digital space, optimize content for maximum visibility, and report on digital performance metrics for Twenty Four Seven properties.

His knowledge of SEO management, website development, and graphic design provides a strong foundation of his role with us.

Nick earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Boise State University.

Tracy Kang | Staff Accountant

Tracy comes to Twenty Four Seven Hotels with over four years of accounting experience in industries of construction, engineering, as well as hospitality.

Prior to her role here at Twenty Four Seven Hotels, she has held other accounting analyst and staff accountant positions, which directly impact her role here, supporting various hotel accounting systems. Tracy's day to day responsibilities involve the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, cash and credit card deposits, and payroll entries.

Tracy earned her Bachelors Degree from Purdue University, with a double major in Accounting and Hospitality Management.

Gary Wu | Controller

Joining the band in 2017, Gary Wu brings 20+ years of accounting experience across six major hotel brands to the Twenty Four Seven Hotels band.

Most recently Director of Finance for Marriott Hotel Manhattan Beach, Gary has held multiple Controller and Finance positions with various hotel brands and hospitality management companies.

His expertise in forecasting, budgeting, capacity planning, inventory control, and income and financial statement auditing make him a highly valued asset in our Finance and Accounting department.

In his role as Controller, Gary will uphold a continuous partnership with the Operations Team to oversee the his region's properties' financial process and controls by monitoring labor, costs and expenses. Additionally, he will provide hands-on guidance to his region's property operational teams.

Gary Wu received his bachelors degree in Accounting at California State University Long Beach.

Sarah Chen | Marketing Coordinator

Sarah joined the 247 band in winter of 2017 and brings with her a degree in Hospitality as well as over four years of experience in the hospitality industry in fields of F&B, operations, and marketing.

As Marketing Coordinator, Sarah develops marketing strategies and creates content for online digital campaigns, with an emphasis in social media. In addition, she serves as an internal social media coach, instructing hotel teams with best practices that abide by Twenty Four Seven Hotel’s guidelines to promote engagement and build brand image.
